Senior Mathematics Major/Statistics Minor at Keene State College. I've completed most of my major required courses with grades of B or higher and never got lower than a 95 in all my mathematics courses during high school. Beyond formal education, I am currently invested in independent of study pertaining to advanced statistical analysis, personal and business accounting, and economics in order to have a better well rounded grasp on the application of mathematical principles in the real world.
Experience
I have independently tutored Introduction to Statistics, Calculus 1 and 2, and Precalculus with every tutee getting a grade of an AB or higher. On my SATs I scored a 1,750 with a math score of 660, setting me in the 88 percentile nationally that year. In high school I took Algebra 2, Geometry, and Precalculus. During my college career I have taken Calculus 1-3, Introduction to Statistics, Probability and Statistics 1, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Mathematical Reasoning and Proof, Number Theory, and Mathematical Foundations for Computer Sciences. I am looking to be a tutor to help others learn to appreciate math as well as help reinforce my own proficiency so as not to get "rusty" on skills that I have not reviewed for some time. I am currently studying to take my actuarial exams in the Summer and progress into the job field soon as an intern in Keene. In the past I have worked as a Direct Support Professional where I managed the day programs of mentally challenged adults and children in order to help them meet and achieve set goals and become more involved in their comminuty
